What is Youth Education Scholarship?
Youth Education Scholarship (YES) is a response to the high cost of private education combined with a mission to share a positive message with local communities. YES gives young people the chance to earn a valuable scholarship that allows them to attend private (Christian) schools. Most students are from local academies and colleges, but some come from farther away. Please don't be dissuaded if you find a young person at your door from another state. YES provides appropriate housing, food, and transportation for all our participants. You'll find that every student has a safety radio to contact their leader/driver who manages a team of six or so participants.
Instead of junk food and magazine subscriptions YES offers quality books for families of all different backgrounds. Please look at our books to see the wide selection we carry. All of our material is on a donation basis so please give generously. Our suggested donation is lower than the retail price of any of our books, but you can give whatever you like.
